How to set grub password in centos 7 :-

 GRUB (GRand Unified Bootloader) is a default boot loader in all Unix-like operating system. As we already know about “How to reset a forgotten root password“, here we are going to review how to protect GRUB with secure password. As we know about single user mode and may change system setting as needed. This is the very big security flow. So, to prevent such kind of unauthorized person to access system/server we may required to have grub with password protected. 

Here, we’ll see how to prevent unauthorized user from entering into single user mode and changing the settings of system who may have direct or physical access of system. it is very important to know about the security purposes.
